Life On The Farm: We are still in the thick of haying season. It's never a good sign when you deliver lunch and see dad on top of the baler. One of the knotters that ties the twine around the bale wasn't working properly. With a few new parts and help from a neighbor, we got it fixed and running again. One of the many wonderful things in the agricultural community is there is never a shortage of hard-working, willing hands to help when things don't always go the right way.
In-between raking and baling hay, we have moved our cows around in the mountains to new pastures. We are praying for rain. It is drying up in the mountains as you can see. But there is still plenty of feed and water!
