Providing you with the highest quality of meats possible, from our family to yours!

Shipping for bulk beef will start the end of the month!

Life On The Farm: We are about four weeks away from sending cows to the mountains. Before this can happen, fences need to be checked and fixed, calves branded, brand inspections scheduled, etc. Before crossing state lines, each cow requires an inspection by a state brand inspector. Some of our herds will cross into New Mexico. New Mexico is a brand law state, which means every cow is required to have a brand that is recorded with the state. All horses and cattle entering New Mexico from another state must have an entry permit. Needless to say, we keep the brand inspectors busy!

The tractors are up and running, plowing in the fields and getting ready for planting season. We say it every week, but every season truly is a busy season on the farm and ranch!

Order & Shipping Update: The deadline of our "Fill Your Freezer - Spring Event" is closely approaching. May 15th will be here soon! The three cows that we took to be processed last week have already sold. We have three more going next week, but do not hesitate or you'll miss out...guaranteed!

Bulk beef orders are shipping end of the month. We are continuing to ship ground beef orders each Monday and Tuesday. We have a few of those packages available, but again, don't wait to order! They won't last long. Order today (Friday) to ensure your delivery by the end of next week! We utilize 2-day shipping and all orders ship directly to your door for FREE!

Product Spotlight: When we opened up orders for our sampler package we underestimated just how fast they would fly out of our freezer. We will have more available in limited quantities so WATCH your email. As a subscribing member to our Cattle Mountain Meats family, you will be the first know of new product availability!

Now is a great time to think about filling your freezer with a premium product that CANNOT be purchased in most grocery stores.

WARNING: If we share an offer here, it tends to sell out quickly. This newsletter is sent out to hundreds of our best customers and supply is limited.

Recommendations: It is not too late to order your half or whole beef to be customized. When you purchase a half or whole beef, you have the option to customize the animal exactly how you would like it processed. This includes dry time, cuts, etc. Please don't wait to place your order! Fill your freezer now! If you are interested, contact us and we will send you a cut sheet with all the different options. Our butcher does an excellent job!

Appreciation: American farmers receive an average of $.16 from each consumer dollar spent at stores on domestically produced food. Buying directly from a local farm supports a farmer almost SIX times greater than purchasing from a grocery store!

We are not part of the agricultural community for the money - the margins are slim to none.  We are truly passionate about our way of life and the legacy we will be leaving to our children. This lifestyle is about beliefs and values passed down through generations!

"Not a moment of life is wasted on a farm. Others may have been more places, but they haven't outlived me." - Jim Fisher

We look forward to connecting with each of you! Please, never hesitate to reply if you have any questions!
